Dreier’s economic policy creates a burden

Inland Valley Daily Bulletin – October 10, 2008

I read the Daily Bulletin's piece regarding the race in the 26th Congressional District between Russ Warner and David Dreier.

The article begged the question: Why did Dreier choose to attack Warner instead of touting his own accomplishments? I mean, Dreier has been our congressman for 28 years.

He should have a long list of legislative accomplishments to run on instead of taking cheap shots at Warner.

93.6%:The Bush Files

You may be surprised to know that -- according to Congressional Quarterly -- from 2001 to 2007 David Dreier voted with George W. Bush's agenda approximately 93.6% of the time. Not only is this out of step with the values of California's 26th Congressional District, but it is completely contrary to the "moderate, independent" image that Dreier has slickly crafted for the last 28 years.
